Dionysis A. Karatzas

Dionysis Karatzas was born in 1950 in Patras. He is a member of the Society of Authors and the Union of Greek Song Creators (E.D.E.T.). He was a key collaborator of the Patras magazine "Ydria" from 1973 to 1985 and a founding member of the Organizing Committee of the Poetry Symposium until 1985. He has published numerous poetry collections. His poems have been translated into English, French, German, and Italian and have been set to music by Mikis Theodorakis, Ilias Andriopoulos, and Giorgos Andreou.
