
Dimitris S. Dimiroulis
Dimitris Dimitroulis was born in 1952 in Agia, Larissa. He is a professor of history and theory of literature at the Department of Communication and Mass Media at Panteion University. He has written extensively on issues of Greek literature and criticism. One of his most well-known works is his book "The Terrible Splash," a critical narrative on the "Three Secret Poems" by G. Seferis (published by Plethron). His long-term engagement with Solomos resulted in the publication of a study in 2003 ("File 'Dionysios Solomos': The Anatomy of a National Thriller") and in the 2007 edition (with an extensive introduction and detailed commentary) of Solomos' poetic and prose works ("Dionysios Solomos: Works: Poems and Prose").
