Alexandra Ioannidou

Alexandra D. Ioannidou was born in 1966 in Athens. She studied Slavic Philology at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and currently teaches at the University of Macedonia. Her main focus is on comparative literature, and she has published studies on South Slavic dialectology. Additionally, she has translated literary and theoretical books from Russian, German, and Polish. Her book "The Granin Case: Literary Criticism on Trial: The 1959 Trial of 'Art Review' and Kostas Kouloufakos' Defense" was awarded the State Prize for Chronicle-Testimony in 2009.
