
Vaios Pagourelis
Vaios Pagkourelis (1946-1998) was born in Athens. He studied physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 1972, he began his journalism career with "Vradyni" and "To Vima" newspapers, and from 1982, he worked as the head of the Literary and Theatrical Broadcasts Department at ERA. In 1983, he took on the role of theater critic for the newspaper "Eleftheros Typos." Simultaneously, he contributed as a columnist and critic to various magazines, including "Diavazo," "Dromena," "Ekkuklema," and "Epilegomenos." He taught dramaturgy at the Drama School of the Piraeus Association and at the Department of Theatre Studies at the University of Thessaloniki. In 1994, he founded the theater group "Smili." His book "Ypovoleio," an essay, was published by Estia Publications in 1983. His book "Logos Theamatos, Kritikes Theatrou (Volume A: Ancient Drama)" was released in 2001.
