Michalis K. CHrysanthopoulos

Michalis Chrysanthopoulos was born in 1952 in Athens. He is a professor of General and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He studied law, history, and philology at the Universities of Athens, London, and Birmingham, and worked as a translator for the European Union and as a radio program producer for the Greek Service of the BBC. Among other works, he has published the studies "Georgios Vizyinos: Between Imagination and Memory" (Estia, 1994) and "Artemidorus and Freud: Interpretative Theories and Literary Dreams" (Exandas, 2005), as well as articles on autobiography, psychoanalytic criticism, and 19th and 20th-century poetry and prose.
