Katerina Papoutsi

Katerina Papoutsi was born in Karditsa in January 1960 and lives in Elefsina. She has been writing books since 1996. She has published two short story collections, a novel, and a novella, all available from "Anatolikos" publishers. Her short stories have won awards in Panhellenic competitions and are included in collective editions. However, she is captivated by the magical world of fairy tales, which has enchanted her since childhood when her storytelling grandmother would take her on journeys through enchanted paths marked by fairies and elves. She attends seminars on the art and technique of storytelling, as well as narrations by both old and contemporary storytellers. She writes her own fairy tales and shares the stories she loves in places where the human soul resides and yearns for dreams.
