
Lila Konomara
Lila Konomara was born in 1960 in Athens. She studied modern literature in Paris and worked for several years as a teacher at the French Institute of Athens. She made her literary debut in 2002 with the book "Macau," for which she was awarded the "Diavazo" magazine's New Author Award in 2003. In 2004, she published the novel "Four Seasons - Detail" (Metaichmio, 2004), followed by the children's novel "At 11 & 11' Sharp" (Papadopoulos, 2005). Her work "The Representation" (Metaichmio, 2009) was shortlisted for the "Diavazo" magazine's Novel Award. "The Dinner" (Kedros, 2012) and "The Geometer's Concerns" (Kedros, 2014) were respectively shortlisted for the Novel and Short Story categories of the Literary Awards by the online magazine O ANAGNOSTIS. In 2018, her novel "The Map of the World in Your Mind" was released by Kedros Publishers.
In addition, she translates French literature and writes articles for newspapers and literary magazines.
