Serge Daney

Serge Daney (Paris, 1944-1992) was one of the most influential film critics for the magazine "Cahiers du cinéma" from 1964 to 1973. He then served as its editor alongside Serge Toubiana from 1973 to 1981, after which he left to collaborate with the newspaper "Libération." He passed away in Paris from AIDS in June 1992.
