Giouli Karousaki

Giouli F. Kalyva-Karousaki was born and raised in Piraeus and has been residing in Palaio Faliro since 1980. She comes from a maritime family with roots in Smyrna and Constantinople. She studied Shipping and Trade in London at The London School of Foreign Trade Ltd - Morley College, and later pursued Advertising and Public Relations at the College for the Distributive Trades - London College of Communication. She worked in London in the commercial departments of clothing and transportation companies. Upon returning to Greece, she married singer Kostas Karousakis, and they have two children. She volunteered for eight years in public affairs as the President of School Committees in the Municipality of Palaio Faliro. She worked at the company "Ramsees" as the head of the commercial department. She is an author and has published four books.
