CHristos Terzidis

Christos Terzidis was born in Cologne, then part of West Germany, and grew up in Thessaloniki. In the late 1980s, he dabbled in radio and music journalism. In 1991, he launched InRock, the first monthly review of the Greek independent music scene. InRock was the first free press magazine to be distributed nationwide, paving the way for this generation of publications. In 2003, he founded Hood, focusing on the Greek hip-hop scene and urban lifestyle. He ceased publication of both magazines in 2005. In the summer of 2003, his music research "Hip-hop Doesn't Stop" was published by Oxy Publications, followed by his first novel "... And the End is Always Near" by Kedros Publications in the winter of 2009, and "Bright Nights" by Intro Publications in the spring of 2011. His novel "Empty Rooms" was released by Papadopoulos Publications in April 2014. In August 2016, his book "Bright Nights" was reissued by Empiria Publishing with the newspaper Eleftheros Typos. Since the early 1990s, he has been involved in concert organization and music artist management. He has managed thousands of events featuring popular artists. Under his management, many Greek artists have achieved successful careers, with some rising to stardom. He lives and works in Athens and, in recent years, in New York, where he has initiated similar activities.
