Dimitris Diakomopoulos

Dimitris Diakomopoulos hails from Agia Anna in north-central Evia and was born in Chalkida in 1937. His schooling began in Agia Anna, continued in Chalkida, and concluded at the 13th Gymnasium of Athens, from which he graduated in 1954. That same year, he was admitted to the Law School of the Kapodistrian University, chose law as his profession, and practiced it vigorously for four decades. He was honored with the positions of General Secretary and President of the Chalkida Bar Association (1980-1986). He engaged with literature in his maturity, producing five poetry collections and a series of essays, columns, and articles, particularly for the newspaper "Progressive Evia." His works have also been published in "Philological New Year," "Aeolian Letters," the legal journal "The Trial," and other publications.
