Stelios Xefloudas

Stelios Xefloudas (1901 [1902] -1984). Stelios Xefloudas was born in Amfissa, spent his high school years in Thessaloniki, and enrolled in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Athens. He also attended courses at the Sorbonne University (1928) and returned to Thessaloniki, where he taught at the Italian Gymnasium and in 1941 was transferred to the Ministry of Education. He was a founding member of the magazine "Macedonian Days" and a member of the Group of Twelve. He is considered the introducer of the interior monologue in modern Greek prose.
