Dimitrios I. Makrygiannis

The author Dimitrios Makrygiannis was born in 1950 in the village of Agios Konstantinos in the Municipality of Pellana, Laconia Prefecture. He is a physicist and worked for several years as a teacher in secondary education. He has a particular interest in ancient Greek philosophy and has published the following works: - "Cosmology and Ethics of Democritus," Georgiadis Publishing, Athens 1999, 393 pages (Athens Academy Award). - "The Concept of God in Pre-Socratic Philosophy," Georgiadis Publishing, Athens 2000, 550 pages. He has also delved into inner philosophy, metaphysical phenomena, and the history of religious ideas. In this field, he has published the work: "The Restoration of Origen. The Whole Truth about the Life and Teachings of Origen and the Fifth Ecumenical Council," Athens 2008, 341 pages. The author began studying Linear B script out of personal interest. However, his continuous observations and notes on both the symbols and the texts of the tablets eventually led to the writing of the present book.
