THanos Ntokos

Thanos P. Dokos holds a Ph.D. in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Cambridge. He has served as a researcher at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt and the Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. From March 1996 to October 1998, he worked as the Scientific Director of the Directorate of Strategic Studies at the Ministry of National Defense, and from 1998 to 1999, he served as a NATO Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was the Director of Research and General Director at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) from 1999 to 2019. He has taught at the University of Piraeus and the University of Athens, the National Defense School, the National Security School, and the Diplomatic Academy. In October 2019, he assumed the role of National Security Advisor in the office of the Prime Minister of Greece.
