Alan Moore

Alan Oswald Moore (born 1953) is one of the leading creators in contemporary comic art, with works such as "Watchmen," "V for Vendetta," "From Hell," "Miracleman," and "Swamp Thing" having received the world's most prestigious awards. He is also the mastermind behind America's Best Comics, through which he has published (in collaboration with talented illustrators) "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," "Promethea," "Tom Strong," "Tomorrow Stories," and "Top Ten." Moore has been considered a pioneer in the field since the early 1980s and has influenced an entire generation of creators, while his work has been beloved by countless readers.
