
Eleonora Stathopoulou
Eleonora Stathopoulou was born in Athens in 1955. She studied theater at the Karolos Koun School and the National Theatre of Greece. She acted in television, theater, and film, earning two national awards for Best Actress for her roles in the films "1922" by Nikos Koundouros and "A Quiet Death" by Frida Liappa. Shortly thereafter, she left acting to pursue iconography, visual arts, radio, and writing. She has painted icons for many chapels, held two exhibitions at the "Astrolavos" gallery, and published the books "He, Barbara: A Dialogue with a Persona" (published by Odos Panos) and "Good Blood, Bad Blood" (published by Vivliopoleion tis Estias). Seven years after the first edition of "He," she rewrote it for the publications of "Vivliopoleion tis Estias."
