Michael Scott

Michael Scott was born in Dublin, Ireland, where he continues to live and work to this day. Having started his writing career approximately 25 years ago, he is now considered one of the most successful and prolific authors in his homeland. With more than 100 titles to his name, his books, which cater to all ages, have been published in over 20 countries and translated into 15 languages. He has rightly earned the title "the king of fantasy." His book "The Alchemyst: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" was nominated for the Irish Book of the Year Award 2008, the Cybills Award 2008, and the CBI Bisto Book of the Year Award 2008, among others, and reached Number 2 on the "New York Times" bestseller list.
