Alexandros PSychoulis
Alexandros Psychoulis was born in Volos in 1966. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Panagiotis Tetsis. Currently, he is a Professor of Art and Technology at the Department of Architecture at the University of Thessaly. Since 2017, he has been directing the Postgraduate Program titled "Post-Industrial Design, Design and Artistic Practices for the Production of Everyday Life." His artistic work includes both interactive and non-interactive installations, painting, sculpture, and animation. He has held 25 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 1997, he was awarded the Benesse Prize for his work "Black Box," with which he represented Greece at the 47th Venice Biennale. In 2000, he wrote the play "I Don't Believe My Eyes," which was staged the same year at the Neos Kosmos Theater, directed by Emmanouil Koutsourelis.
