Ahdaf Soueif

Ahdaf Soueif, a novelist, commentator, and activist, is the author of the novels "The Map of Love" (published by Livanis, shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize) and "In the Eye of the Sun," both of which became bestsellers. She has also written the essay collection "Mezzaterra: Fragments from the Common Ground" and the short story collection "I Think of You." She regularly contributes to the newspapers "The Guardian" and Egypt's "Al Shorouk" and is the founder of the Palestine Festival of Literature, PalFest.
