Sebastian Junger was born in Massachusetts and lives in New York. He works as a journalist, and his articles have been published in magazines such as Outside, American Heritage, and Men’s Journal. His book "The Perfect Storm" (1997) achieved tremendous success in the United States, with sales exceeding three million copies, and remained on the New York Times bestseller lists for 42 weeks. It has been translated into 16 languages and was adapted into a film starring George Clooney.
