
Clive Barker
Clive Barker was born in Liverpool in 1952. He is the author of works such as "Weaveworld," "The Thief of Always," "Books of Blood," "The Damnation Game," "The Inhuman Condition," "In the Flesh," "Cabal," "Imajica," "The Great and Secret Show," "Everville," and "The Ancient Secret." He is considered one of the leading novelists in horror and fantasy. In 1985, he was awarded the World Fantasy Award. Beyond his writing, which includes novels, short stories, and screenplays, he is also an illustrator, director, and producer for theater and film. He has directed films such as "Nightbreed," "Lord of Illusions," the "Candyman" series, and the "Hellraiser" trilogy. His paintings are regularly exhibited in Los Angeles and New York. His more recent works include the Oscar-winning "Gods and Monsters" and an exhibition of erotic paintings and photographs titled "The Weird and the Wicked." The author resides in Los Angeles.
