Sarah Perry

Sarah Perry was born in Essex in 1979 and currently resides in Norwich. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London, and has been a writer-in-residence at the Gladstone Library and UNESCO City of Literature in Prague. Her book "The Essex Serpent" was released in 2016 and was named Waterstones Book of the Year, British Book Awards Book of the Year, and a Sunday Times Number 1 Bestseller. It is being translated into 25 languages.
