
Peter Straub
Peter Straub is one of the greatest American authors of mystery and fantasy. His work has been repeatedly honored with numerous accolades, including the Bram Stoker, World Fantasy, and British Fantasy Awards. To date, he has written seventeen bestsellers—among them "The Talisman" and "Black House," co-authored with Stephen King—which have been translated into more than twenty languages.
He has also published two poetry collections and four short story collections. In 2003, his latest novel, "Lost Boy, Lost Girl," earned him the Bram Stoker Award for the fifth time, as well as the International Horror Guild Award.
He has served as the president of the Horror Writers Association of America. He lives in New York with his wife, Susan, who is the director of the Read to Me program.
