Antonis Zairis

Antonis Zairis was born in Nikaia, Piraeus, in 1961, with roots from the island of Andros. He studied Political Science and Business Administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology from Panteion University, with a doctoral thesis on microeconomics specializing in retail trade. He has served as an Executive in Multinational and large Greek companies for 32 years. Currently, he is the Deputy Vice President of the Hellenic Retail Business Association (SELPE). He has taught as a Visiting Professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, at the Democritus University of Thrace (2011-2013), as well as in the MBA programs of the University of New York in Tirana and the University of New York in Prague. He is the author of 15 books, 7 of which he co-authored with other collaborators, focusing on Entrepreneurship, Management, and Communication. He has also written political-economic books and poetry collections.
