Stayros G. Karkaletsis

Stavros G. Karkaletsis, of Thessalian origin, was born in Athens in 1967 and grew up in Germany. He graduated from the Department of History at the School of Philosophy in Athens and is an alumnus of the National School of Public Administration of Greece. He has traveled to almost all European countries, as well as the Middle East and Turkey. He visited Cyprus many times, and his extended stay there brought him close to the island's Hellenism, which he experienced "from the inside." In 1992, he returned and has since been living permanently in Greece.
