Antonis A. Paparizos

Antonis Paparizos hails from Lagadas, Thessaloniki, where he completed his high school education, and studied Political Science at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens. As a recipient of a French Government scholarship, he pursued postgraduate studies at the Sorbonne Paris I-Panthéon and the Centre d'Analyse Comparative des Systèmes Politiques of the same university, earning two diplomas in Political Sociology, Sociology, and History. He holds a Doctorate D'État from Paris 2 University, specializing in the Sociology of Religion. He was recognized as a lecturer in 1989 by Paris 2. Since 1985, he has been teaching Sociology and Sociology of Religion at Panteion University. As a visiting professor, he has taught at other Greek and international universities. He is an associate professor. He has participated in international conferences with scientific presentations and published numerous papers.
