Alexandra Mitsiali

Alexandra Mitsiali was born and raised in Corfu. She studied at the School of Philosophy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and works as a philologist in public education. Simultaneously, she writes literature for both children and adults. Her books have been nominated for the State Children's Literature Award ("The Star House" 2009, "My Name is Niloufer" 2012, "The Doll that Traveled the World" 2013, "I Promise" 2013) as well as for other awards ("The Star House" and "The Night of the Fireflies" by the literary magazine Diavazo in 2008 and 2009 respectively, "I Will Save You No Matter What" by the Circle of the Greek Children's Book and Anagnostis in 2014, "Mr. Time, I Have Many Complaints" by the Circle of the Greek Children's Book in 2015). Her novel "I Will Save You No Matter What" was awarded the State Literature Award for Young People in 2014.
