Konstantinos A. Papageorgiou
Konstantinos A. Papageorgiou was born in Athens in 1955. He is a professor of philosophy of law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens. He studied at the Faculty of Law in Athens and received his doctoral degree from the University of Munich. In the fall of 2005, he was a Stanley J. Seeger visiting researcher at the Program in Hellenic Studies at Princeton University. He has published three books ("Schaden und Strafe," Baden-Baden: Nomos Verlag, 1994; "The Political Possibility of Justice: Contract and Consent in John Rawls," Athens: Nissos, 1994; "War and Justice," Athens: Polis, 2008; "Refugees and Our Duties Towards Them," Polis, 2017) and numerous articles on the philosophy of law, ethics, and political philosophy.
