Agelos Papailias
Angelos Papaelias studied theater and film. Since 1965, he has written and directed the short film "Return" and two feature films, "The Passing" and "High Treason"—the latter in collaboration with Th. Papageorgiou. He has also directed twenty-three 16 mm films for Greek television, including: "Theater in Uprising," "The Delta of the Evros River," "The Heroic Woman of Western Macedonia," "The Photographer of Alexandroupoli Alexandros Panagiotou," "From Homer to 2000," "Cultural Association of Pontians of Kavala," "The Portrait of a Political Man," "Tempi," "White Cultivations," "Silkworm," "Fish Market," "A Hazelnut... a Story," "The Pepper of Aridaia," "National Health System," "Kiwi," among others. He has written several screenplays, as well as three novels: "Yesterday a Child... Today a Child," "Euro-Balkan," and "The Further of Mr. Prosecutor"—all three published by "Kaktos Editions."
