Peter Ustinov

Born in London to Russian parents, Sir Peter was renowned for his fluency in several European languages, speaking more than six. He wrote his first play at the age of 19 and made his first film at 25. He starred in, produced, and directed his works in London, New York, Berlin, Paris, and Rome. He interviewed major leaders worldwide and received honorary titles internationally. For at least the last 30 years of his life, he served as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. He was awarded Oscars for his performances in the films "Spartacus" and "Topkapi." He was a screenwriter, novelist, director, and was regarded as one of the greatest mimics and storytellers in the world. In his later years, he resided on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. He passed away on March 28, 2004, at a clinic near the town of Nyon in western Switzerland, at the age of 82.
