Marcello D'Orta, a Neapolitan, became the most famous teacher in Italy thanks to "I Hope I Make It," which was released in December 1990 and has reached its thirtieth edition, with over one million copies sold. This book has been translated into six languages, including Hungarian and Japanese, and served as the basis for both a film and a theatrical production. Following the success of his first collection of student essays, "The Teacher Who Still Learns," he published "God Made Us for Free" (1992) and "Romeo and Juliet Got Engaged Below" (1993).
