Spyros Vrettos

Spyros Vrettos was born in Tsoukalades, Lefkada, where he completed his primary education. He finished high school in Lefkada. He studied at the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens and, in 1987, earned his doctorate from the School of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina. He lives and works in Lefkada. He has published the novels "Candidate Student" (Kastaniotis, 1980), "Respite, Catharsis" (Kastaniotis, 1987), "Struggle for Survival or Study of Death" (Logothetis, 1994), the essay "Humanism, Dialectics of Philology and Positive Sciences" (1974), "Topics of Contemporary Thought for the Essay" (Kastaniotis, 1990), and the study "The Folk Poets of Lefkada as a Social Phenomenon" (Kastaniotis, 1994), among others.
