Eirini CHavredaki

Eirini Chavredaki was born in Karlovasi, Samos. She studied English Philology and Language and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University (USA) and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut (USA). Since 1989, she has been teaching in the Department of Sociology at the University of Crete. She has published four specialized English textbooks for sociologists with "Typothito" publications: Themes in Sociology, Sociological Perspectives, Social Theorists, Sociological Methods. She made her debut in Greek literature in 2012 with the poetry collection "Diadromes" (published by Iolkos).
