Vasilis Papatheodorou

Vasilis Papatheodorou was born in 1967 in Athens. He graduated from the German School of Athens and studied metallurgical and chemical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, while also completing a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. To date, he has published ten young adult and teen novels, five of which ("The Message," "The Nine Caesars," "Breath on the Glass," "At Full Volume," "The Great Journey of the Chinese Duck") are taught at the University of the Aegean, in the Department of Primary Education, to trainee teachers. He has been honored twice with the State Prize for Children's Literature and twice with the "Diavazo" magazine award (2008, 2010) for his books "Breath on the Glass" and "At Full Volume." Additionally, he has received six other literary awards for various works from the Circle of the Greek Children's Book, the Women's Literary Society, and the Cyprus Association of Children's and Young Adult Books.
