Lina Kasdagli

Lina Kasdagli (née Elia Vlachou) was born in Corinth in 1921 to educator parents. She studied at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens and at the Cours Special of the French Institute. To date, she has published three poetry collections and has worked in various fields of writing: translations, children's literature, literary and typographic editing of books, and collaborations with magazines (Nea Estia, Epoches) and radio for 25 years. She was responsible for publishing the youth magazine "The Guide of the Greek Girl Guides Association." She also participated in committees for the drafting of school textbooks (Ministry of Education, Manolis Triantafyllidis Foundation). She was married to the author Emm. Ch. Kasdagli and has three children.
