Giorgos Margaritis

Giorgos Margaritis was born in Athens in 1954. He teaches Modern History at the Department of Political Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1985 to 2004, he taught at the University of Crete. His research interests focus on the period of the Occupation, the Resistance, and the Civil War. Most of his published articles in Greek and international journals, as well as his studies in collective volumes and his presentations at scientific conferences, refer to this period.
