
Maria PSoma
Maria Psoma Petridou was born and lives in Thessaloniki. She writes poems, short stories, and articles. Her poems and short stories have been published online. She has also participated in various anthologies in Greece, the United Kingdom, and the USA. Since 2008, she has been the coordinator of the Anatolia Alumni Association Reading Club and publishes articles and book reviews in the Association's magazine and on the website: www.saak.gr. She is the creator and leader of the volunteer reading group "Read to Me!". Since 2011, she has collaborated with the online literary magazine Eyelands and serves as a judge for the English section of the annual short story competition.

2006: Second prize in poetry from the Greek-Australian League of Melbourne for the poem "The Bate."
2009: Second prize in poetry for the poem "Loss" in the 2nd Panhellenic Competition of the Spiritual and Olympic Shelter of Dimitrios Vikelas of the Municipality of Veria.
2009: Second prize in the short story category with the title "Even if Found, It Will Haunt Me" in the Antonis Samarakis literary competition.
Her short stories and poems have been published in literary magazines such as Iambos, Intervention, Embolimon, Literary Themes, Intellectum, Pandora, Parodos, Sisyphus, as well as on literary websites: one-story, stellasliterarybistro, translatum, e-logos, eyelands, bibliotheque.
