Katerina Miliou

Katerina Miliou was born in Australia. She spent her childhood in Kozani and her teenage years in Thessaloniki during a time when the first bars flourished, along with vibrant nights and friendships in an atmosphere filled with romance, pioneering artistic movements, political and existential reflections. She began writing poetry in her early teenage years. She studied psychology and pursued postgraduate studies in clinical psychology in England at the University of Sheffield. She has published two poetry collections and has been described as a "quintessentially lyrical poet." She continued her postgraduate studies in Athens, focusing on Psychological Assessment, and attended seminars on parenting, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. She is married, has a son, and works privately in the fields of psychological assessment and psychotherapy, always in harmony with the arts.
