Mauro Pichiassi

Mauro Pichiassi is an Associate Professor in the Didactics of Living Languages. He has taught Language Didactics, Italian Linguistics, and the Didactics of the Italian Language for many years in the undergraduate Departments of Italian Language and Literature at the University for Foreigners of Perugia (Università per Stranieri di Perugia) and in Language Departments. He is the author of various books on foreign language teaching, the use of modern technologies in language instruction, the assessment of language skills, and learning Italian as a second/foreign language. His studies and articles have been published in scientific journals and collective volumes. He has served as a Visiting Professor and has lectured at many universities worldwide. His literary work is well-known, and his books are distributed in various countries where Italian is studied as a foreign language.
