Steve Peters

Professor Steve Peters is a consultant psychiatrist with over twenty years of experience. He holds degrees in mathematics, education, and medicine, a master's degree in medical education, and postgraduate certifications in sports medicine, education, and psychiatry. He has been a senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield since 1994, the dean of undergraduate students at the Medical School, and a member of the examination board of the Royal College of Psychiatry. Additionally, he collaborates with top athletes. He is the psychiatrist for the Professional Cycling Team and a consultant psychiatrist for Liverpool Football Club. Beyond working with champions, Professor Peters also assists CEOs, senior executives, healthcare staff, patients, and university students, helping them understand why they think and react the way they do, and how they can manage their thoughts to optimize their performance both at work and in their personal lives.
