Dion Fortune

Dion Fortune is one of the most prominent figures in modern spiritual exploration. Her real name was Violet M. Firth, and she was born in 1890 in a region on the northern coast of Wales. Her first encounter with the spiritual world of humans occurred through her education in Freud's psychoanalytic theories. She also apprenticed under Dr. Moriarty, a mysterious figure of her time, who deeply influenced her later pursuits. Her name became associated with the "Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn" and her participation in the "Alpha and Omega" section, as well as the Stella Matutina lodge. In 1924, she founded the "Fraternity of the Inner Light," which she led until her untimely death in 1924. She left behind a rich body of written work that serves as a significant resource for students of the philosophy of spiritual exploration.
