Petros Vasileiadis

Petros Vassiliadis was born in Thessaloniki in 1945. He is a professor of the New Testament at the School of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also teaches courses on Missiology and Interfaith Dialogue. He serves as the president of the World Conference of Associations of Theological Institutions (WOCATI), is a member of the synodal committees "Liturgical Renewal" and "Inter-Orthodox and Inter-Christian Relations" of the Church of Greece, and is one of the translators of the New Testament into modern Greek. He has authored 14 books and over 150 specialized scholarly studies, many of which have been translated into 10 languages.
