Veni Papadimitriou

Veni Papadimitriou was born and raised in Ioannina. She earned a degree as a radio operator in the Merchant Navy, but journalism ultimately won her over. She studied Media and worked for many years at the newspapers "Apogevmatini" and "Apogevmatini tis Kyriakis." She gained recognition in the field, initially with "humanitarian" reporting, conveying the problems, pain, and suffering of people. Later, she focused on scientific topics and research until the unfortunate closure of the newspaper. She contributed to the scientific magazine "Science Illustrated," worked at "Radiotileorasi," and in the Press Office of a political party. She taught journalism at the Athanasios Botsis Institute for the Promotion of Journalism and in programs at the University of the Aegean. Her first book, titled "Breaking the Chains of Neurosis" (published by Livani), was nominated twice for an award at the Academy of Athens by the academic K. Konstantinos Despotopoulos.
