Alexandros CH. Kortsaris

Professor Alexandros H. Kortsaris, a Biochemistry Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace, has a significant presence in international literature with over a hundred publications and active participation in hundreds of international conferences. As a visiting professor, he has also taught at universities abroad. Over the past ten years, he has published five books capturing his memories and concerns, and has explored everyday aspects of Greek reality in a novelistic form. This may be why he engages with different literary genres. Chronicles, essays, short stories, and reviews have marked his journey in the literary world, all while maintaining his scientific activities, where he remains active on the front lines, even holding high administrative positions.
