
Zoi TH. Spyropoulou
Zoe Spyropoulou spent her childhood and youth in her hometown, Pyrgos of Ilia. She studied pedagogy at the Arsakeio Pedagogical Academy. She obtained a postgraduate degree and completed her studies at the Pedagogical Department of the University of Athens. Initially, she worked in private education and later in public education as a school principal. She currently serves as a School Counselor in Athens. She has been an active participant in the educational movements after the political changeover, striving for better education in our country, leading the educational struggles of O.I.E.L.E. - D.O.E. She is married to civil engineer Ilias Ch. Papadimitriou and has a son who is a graphic designer and a daughter who is a biochemist and molecular biologist.
She is a prose writer, author of short stories, novels, folklore collections, theatrical texts, articles, and essays. She is also involved in the editing of literary books. Since 1976, she has collaborated with newspapers and magazines, contributing chronicles, studies, and articles on educational issues. She has presented papers at international conferences related to education, language, literature, theater, and gender equality. She has participated in numerous book-related events in schools, associations, municipalities, and libraries throughout Greece.
