
Manos Megalokonomos
Manos Megalokonomos was born in Thessaloniki. After completing his legal studies at the Universities of Thessaloniki and Paris, he pursued a diplomatic career, serving in many countries as a representative of Greece. Among other roles, he served as the Greek Ambassador to Canada and China and as Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In recent years, he has been teaching "negotiation techniques" at various Public Administration Schools. He is also involved in the negotiation aspects of European Union programs in third (Eastern European and Asian) countries. He has published a series of short stories, articles, and essays, as well as novels ("The Sand of the Moon," 1996, "The Hour of the Purple," 1998, "Pytheas of the Winds," 2003, "The Steps of the Gods," 2005).
