Panos Konstantopoulos

Born in 1972, he studied graphic design in Athens. He began his career as a layout artist at the magazine "Epsilon" of "Kyriakatiki Eleftherotypia." In 1996, he joined the graphics department of "Eleftherotypia," where he worked until 2008. He served as the artistic director at Alpha TV from 2000 to 2007 and as an art consultant at the Athens Concert Hall from 2001. He has designed a series of maps for travel magazines and guides. He has published 12 personal books. In 2002, he was awarded at the EVGE competition for his graphics in "Eleftherotypia" and for the design of the literary magazine "Bibliothiki." In 2008 and 2009, he received awards for his graphics in "Kathimerini" at the European Newspaper Design Awards in Vienna. Today, he works at the newspaper "Kathimerini" as a designer of graphics and maps. His most beautiful "creations" have been made with his wife Maria, and they are "Chrysanthi," "Epameinondas," "Myrto," and "Hyacinth."
