Daniel Pennac

Daniel Pennac was born in Casablanca in 1944. As one of the most renowned contemporary French authors, Pennac gained worldwide recognition with his book "Comme un roman" (translated by Rena Chatzhout, Kastaniotis Editions, 1999). A prolific writer, he has also authored numerous children's novels. Among his novels for adults, special significance is given to the books featuring the members of the Malaussène family. His most recent work is the novel "Le dictateur et le hamac" (2003).
