Dionysis Kapsalis

Dionysis Kapsalis was born in Athens in 1952. He studied classical and English philology in the USA (1970-1974) and modern Greek philology in London (1981-1984), where he also taught for two years. Since 1978, he has published poetry books, essays, poetic translations, articles, studies, and book reviews in various magazines and newspapers. From 1986 to 1997, he worked as a publishing manager at the Estia Bookstore. Since September 1998, he has been working at the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation, where, since November 1999, he holds the position of director.
