
Tasoula Tsilimeni
Tasoula Tsilimeni is a Professor at the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Thessaly, where she teaches courses on Children's and Adolescent Literature, Narration, Fiction, and Creative Writing of short-form texts. Her research interests focus on the theory and criticism of children's and adolescent literature, as well as its teaching methods. As a guest lecturer, she offers courses and lectures in postgraduate programs at both domestic and international universities (such as the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Nicosia, among others). She has published research work in reputable international and Greek scientific journals, collective volumes, conference proceedings, and standalone books. She is the Director of the Laboratory of Language and Culture at the University of Thessaly and the Editor-in-Chief of the online journal for the theory and study of children's literature, KEIMENA (www.keimena.ece.uth.gr). Additionally, she writes literary books for children and adults, published by well-known publishing houses. Her short stories and tales have been published in magazines and print media, such as the online magazine "O Anagnostis" and the newspaper "Eleftheria," among others. Her books have been shortlisted for the Greek Children's Book Circle awards, and her book "Mr. Boo" was honored with the Illustration Award from the same organization.
